I would like to raise awareness about this devastating movement disorder through Kids Play for Good.
Mitchell
" When Albert was very sick, I felt really bad for him because he had such a hard time walking around that he had  to get a wheelchair. My brother had a deep brain stimulation surgery performed by great doctors in New York City. Now Albert has two electrodes connected to the pacemakers that deliver electrical stimulation to targeted areas in the brain that control movement, blocking the abnormal nerve signals that cause dystonia.  My brother is back on track, and we enjoy playing basketball, tennis and soccer together again. He is everything to me. I cherish our friendship a lot." Mitchell S.
I am most proud of my accomplishments in school and tennis All successful people do good things in life My mentors are my parents and my 4th grade teacher, Mr. Beal My hero is Roger Federer The world would be a better place with no pollution Growing up I think I will be a professional tennis player The best advice I ever received was always to be respectful to others The best day of my life was my 11th birthday The best idea I ever had was to sign up for USTA My favorite expressions is I got 100% on a test (which I do very often) If I could be someone else for the day I would be
Roger Federer My friends would be surprised to know I play guitar and that I was number one in boy’s 10 singles

"After going through deep brain stimulation accompanied with the installation of pacemakers, I can play sports and enjoy life to the fullest.
I am very grateful for the this upcoming KPFG fundraiser and the many great causes that it supports.
It is wonderful to see that my brother, Mitchell, is participating in this event to help raise funds and awareness for dystonia."
